Troy for Kids

Troy IV

We don't know what caused the change from Troy III to Troy IV, about 2150 BC. The same people still seem to be living at Troy, but now they have a stronger community with a big stone wall around it, much bigger than in Troy II. People live inside the wall in small houses, with narrow streets, but they are not as messy as the Troy III people. A lot of people now have cooking ovens in their houses. Troy IV lasts about 150 years, until about 2000 BC.
