Mission Statement - Kidipede

Kidipede - History for Kids! teaches human history in the most accessible possible way. We enable all people to understand and appreciate the past.

We're particularly concerned to provide access to people who might otherwise have trouble accessing information such as children, people with learning disabilities, people living in places where it is difficult to learn, and people for whom English is not their first language.

We write history that is easy to read and yet still accurately reflects current ideas, debates, and information. And we present information that, while appropriate for children, is still complete, especially as concerns groups and ideas that have often been under-represented in other accounts.
