If you're in New York City, or you're going to visit New York City soon, make time to check out the Children's Museum of Manhattan. They've got a great exhibit on Gods, Myths, and Mortals in Ancient Greece that you will love. You can wrestle like Hercules with a computer arm, or have a weaving contest with Athena like Arachne, or just find out more about spinning and weaving in ancient Greece.

Plan your trip: The Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) is located in the Tisch Building at 212 West 83rd Street, not far from the Museum of Natural History. Visit Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for children and adults, $7 for seniors and free for babies less than a year old. The Children's Museum also has a great exhibit on United States holidays that helps you learn about the Declaration of Independence, Martin Luther King, and the many different cultures that live and work in the United States (and especially in New York City!).
