Kidipede Community Outreach
Welcome to Kidipede!
In keeping with our mission statement, Kidipede works with the global community to bring access to knowledge to people who might not otherwise have that access. Kidipede frequently donates subscriptions to school fundraising auctions, to help raise funds for Internet access and other educational items. Ask us to donate to your school's auction!
Doctors without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières)
Because some kids have more pressing problems than education, Kidipede also donates to Doctors without Borders, which provides health care to kids and their parents in disturbed areas like Darfur and Uzbekistan.
Human Rights Watch and the ACLU
In order to preserve our right to tell the story of the past as truthfully as we can, and in order to preserve the rights of kids around the world to read our version of their history, Kidipede also contributes to Human Rights Watch and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Wikipedia
In grateful acknowledgement of the many times we have turned to Wikipedia to confirm a date or a name, and in order to bring access to many kinds of information to many different people all over the world, Kidipede also contributes to the Wikimedia Foundation.
