Chemistry Teachers Guide - the parts of an atom, the elements, and more

Chemistry Teacher's Guide

Teacher

Kidipede starts with the structure of an atom, then goes on to discuss ionic bonding and covalent bonding, with individual discussions of the more common and useful elements including hydrogen, helium, copper, iron, gold, uranium and others. Some of the common molecules are presented, like carbon dioxide, salt, and water. Then we move on to a more general discussion of the properties of metals, plastics, and other organic molecules.

Kidipede does not discuss the periodic table specifically, though much of the information in the table is covered.
